Journey of Womanhood
Last night I was thinking about this thing I like to call the journey of womanhood, and I could not help but to think what does that really mean. I came up with it's about learning the self, growing in God, and finding the things in life that make you happy. Every ones journey to womanhood will be different. Some of us will want a family and others a career. Regardless of our desires we all want to be fulfilled. The journey of womanhood is about self fulfillment.

Hello
Wow! I can't believe that I'm actually doing this, but I have some things that I need to release through my writing and what better way to express myself than to blog it. My ideas, emotions, trails and tribulations should be shared because many of us are experiencing similar situations. Communication is the key to all things healthy and this medium is intended to be an outlet for me to express myself in a healthy way and to get feedback from the masses. I know that I am not alone in this walk, but sometimes I need to be reassured.
I realize that we all go through things. Some things are easier to share than others, while certain situations are hard to digest for our selves. Often times I sit alone and think about life. What have I done with my life so far and what I still want to accomplish? At times I have all the answers and at times I don't have an answer at all. But that to me is the beautiful part of coming into myself. I believe that we can never be whole because we're always searching for bigger, better, things to make us feel fulfilled.
This blog will be used as a means for my journey into womanhood. Readers will find that my topics will range from a broad spectrum of ideas concerning feminism, womanhood, black feminism, and black female empowerment all the way to the other end of the spectrum regarding matters of love, finances, and life. I hope that whoever reads this blog takes something valuable away from it. I do not want to be another character or spectacle in the online scene I want to be someone that is recognized as a person who is sorting out her life. A woman in search of herself.
